Meow Day a huge success

The second annual cat festival Meow Day, which was held at Adhari Park, ended on a high note witnessing 13 cats contesting for unique titles and prizes. Individuals turned in huge numbers to the annual cat festival, which featured cat-related art, poetry, merchandise, and a fun, toy-filled time for kittens and individuals.

Speaking to Tribune, Mohammed Hassan of Founder 1984 PR and co-organiser of Meow Day 2018, said, “This year, we picked our winners with a spinning wheel, where, each cat won its own unique titles and a bag of prizes. So it’s a lot more inclusive than last year’s edition. “Along with providing a platform for individuals to adopt animals, Meow Day promotes animal welfare by encouraging adoptions. “Our long-term goal is to help associate cats with good fortune. Each year, we will give bigger and better prizes, and we will give more opportunities to win for those who adopt a cat at our festival and come back next year with the same cat.
