Strikers lift CBA T25 League trophy
Strikers lifted the CBA Division B T-25 League trophy by defeating Asgharali Bahrain Zalmi by 7 runs. Asgharali won the toss and elected to bowl first. Striker lost their top order batman in the early stage of the game.
Sikdhar played a math winning knock taking the responsibility and scored a quick unbeaten 84 runs in 43 balls helped Strikers to score 165 at the end of 20 overs.
In second innings the match was oscillating between the two teams. Once Asgharli was close to the match but Strikers bowlers pulled the match towards them.
They restricted the opponent for 158 runs and Strikers won the match by 7 runs. Sameer took 3 wickets for Strikers. Brief Score Strikers 165/6 in 20 overs (Sikdhar 84, Satya 25) beat Asgharali Bahrain Zalmi 158/6 (Junaid 51, Zuhair 29, Sameer 30/3) by 7 runs.
