Chimaev edge Wheeler at Brave 20
Sweden’s Khamzat Chimaev established his dominance by stopping USA’s Sidney Wheeler by technical knockout within 35 seconds of the opening round in the main event of Brave 20.
The twentieth edition of the event hosted by Brave Combat Federation held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India showcased ten professional fights featuring athletes from 11 nations including USA, Sweden, New Zealand, Morocco, India, Jordan, Italy, Brazil, England, Indonesia and Afghanistan.
The event marked a major milestone as the Bahrain based global Mixed Martial Arts organization entered into a major business partnership with MTV in India. Brave 20 featured the largest line up of professional Mixed Martial Artists from India.
In the co-main event, John Brewin from New Zealand, showcased true display of heart in a fight that went the distance where the New Zealander conceded his first loss to Anas Siraj Mounir from Morocco. The event ended in a disappointing note for Mixed Martial Artists from India as none were successful against International athletes.
