Shura holds second regular meeting
The Shura Council yesterday held its second regular meeting of the first session of the fifth Legislative Term, under the chairmanship of Ali Al Saleh. The Council opened the first session of the Fifth Legislative Term, under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Chairman, Jamal Mohammed Fakhroo, following a speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The meeting also approved the proposal of the council’s bureau on the membership of its standing committees.
It also elected the standing committees’ chairpersons and deputy chairpersons, as well as the four members who will represent the Shura Council in the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Delegation.
