Bahrain team @ Children’s Science Congress

Students from New Millennium School and New Indian School are representing Bahrain in the 26th National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) taking place at Bhuvaneshwar, Odisha, India. Team members include junior category team leader Anusaka and Project Guide Shilpa Sharma from New Millennium School and Senior category team leader Harihar with Project Guide Shaji Sam from New Indian School.

This is also the third time a team from Bahrain is participating in this prestigious event. NCSC is a flagship programme of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Children’s Science Congress is targeted to spread the concept of ‘Learning through doing’.

Teams will carry out a project on the theme and sub-theme decided for the year Bahrain team were selected based on a screening conducted at the Bahrain Students’ Innovation Congress held on 30 November 2018 at the Bahrain Society of Engineers hall in Juffair. Out of the 17 projects presented, top 2 were selected by an eminent panel of judges from Universities and various other educational institutes in Bahrain.
