Asian sentenced for attacking Bahraini man
The First High Criminal Court has jailed an Asian national for three years for attacking a Bahraini man, which caused permanent disabilities in the victim.
According to court details, the victim had hired the Asian to carry a few sacks of onions to his house from the Central Market. “A quarrel erupted between the two which led to a fistfight.
The Asian pushed the Bahraini man and he fell hitting his head on the ground,” the Prosecutors said. The victim was severely injured; he still remains in a coma and his limbs had to be amputated because of the injuries. The accused was charged with attacking the Bahraini man with an intention to cause him harm.
