Southern Governorate to implement several developmental plans

Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, yesterday at the Governorate weekly Majlis, welcomed a number of dignitaries, academics and intellectuals. The Governor said the Southern Governorate would witness in 2019 more development and service achievements thanks to the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and support of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

He highlighted that the Governorate’s policy would continue in terms of communication with citizens through various channels, including the Governorate Majlis, in order to translate their needs and aspirations in order into reality in coordination with the competent authorities. He commended the diversity of thoughts and objective topics raised at the majlis leading to bringing up thoughtful ideas and initiatives to benefit the public.

The audience wished HRH the Prime Minister durable good health and happiness, taking pride in his national role in leading the development march. They praised HH the Governor’s interest in communicating with citizens and listening to their needs, welcoming his initiatives to document the Southern Governorate history and culture.
