Council holds first session
The Capital Secretariat Council held its first session for the term 2018- 2022 at the hall of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning in Manama. The session was chaired by Saleh Taher Tarradah, Chairman and Board Member of the Capital Secretariat Council.
It discussed many agendas of the council and reviewed plans for the coming years. Speaking to Tribune, Mr Saleh said, “The first session discussed and reviewed the two requests of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning. The urban planning authorities wanted the Capital Secretariat Council’s opinion and recommendations on two plots.
“Along with discussing the proposal, we had a meeting with the Gulf City Cleaning Company to understand their role and further initiatives that the two organisations can work together on.” “The Capital Secretariat Council further is looking forward to a successful term and collaborating with other organisations for the betterment of Capital and the Kingdom,” Saleh added.
