Batelco flies fans to Asian Cup opening match
Batelco said it is chartering a flight to takeover 210 fans to the opening match of the Asian Cup, taking place in Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The initiative follows a meeting between Batelco and Bahrain Football Association and is in line with the Association’s efforts to support the National Football Team.
Keen on championing the national team and supporting sporting initiatives, Batelco said its initiative comes in line with the company’s eagerness to strengthen its community partnership. The Asian Cup, which is one of the most important tournaments in Asia, takes place every four years since 1956, with teams competing for the title of AFC Asian Cup Champions.
