Rashid Equestrian Club holds tenth race

I n the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club held the 10th race for this season, 2018-2019, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.

Shaikh Sultanuddin bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, as well as representatives of sponsors and horse-racing fans also attended the seven-round race which was held for the cups of Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the Southern Governorate and Al Salam Bank.

HH Shaikh Isa was presented with the trophy of Alba’s Cup by Alba’s Hassan Mohammed Noor following the winning of his horse “Shoghun” of the seventh round. Meanwhile, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa crowned trainer Yusif Taher, with the Southern Governorate’s Cup.

Hassan Noor also presented the Alba Cup for the second and fourth rounds to winner trainer, James Naylor. Habib Qassim presented the trophy of the Salam Bank Cup to owner Ibrahim Al Afoo, the winner of the sixth round.
