Sentence cut for terror accused
The High Appellate Court has cut the jail sentence handed down to three terror accused, to 15 years. The accused were charged with injuring a police officer and damaging a police vehicle by hurling explosives. They were also convicted of illegally possessing weapons apart from causing damages to public properties.
The incident which led to the case occurred in Budaiya, a few years ago. It is alleged that the first and second accused took part in the attack after undergoing training on using explosives.
