BDB appoints new head of banking
The Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) has announced the appointment of Raed Yousif Bukannan as Head of Banking. He will be mainly responsible for SME financing (Islamic and Conventional) in addition to the Corporate Finance and Syndication. Mr Bukannan has over 16 years of extensive experience in Corporate and SME Financing.
He held key positions in several renowned banks and financial institutions such as HSBC, Ahli United Bank, National Bank of Kuwait, Ernst and Young and American Express. Mr Bukannan is a holder of a Bachelor degree in Marketing from Nicholls State University, US and a Master degree in Business Administration from St Edward’s University, US.
He is CLBB certificate holder (Commercial Lender Business Banker) and a Member of Bahrain Management Society in addition to Beta Gamma Sigma (The Honor Society for Collegiate Schools of Business).
