Social development projects discussed
Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan received Member of Parliament (MP) Zainab A Ameer, the parliamentary representative of the Capital’s seventh constituency.
They discussed the cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the ministry to serve social development projects and initiatives as well as various labour and social development issues as part of efforts to boost the Kingdom’s community progress. The minister praised the Council’s role in legislation related to the ministry’s work, welcoming all the suggestions and initiatives that will promote the labour and social progress in the interest of the community and individuals.
He reviewed the ministry’s efforts in the field of labour and social protection and welfare for all the Bahraini community segments to ensure the citizens decent living as well as to develop the national workforce and enhance productivity in the private sector.
