Civil Defence holds firefighting and rescue exercise in Juffair
The General Directorate of Civil Defence has held a joint exercise for the high-rise buildings in Juffair.
It aimed to ensure fast response by the Civil Defence teams and test the preparedness of the safety and security personnel of some residential buildings.
It was also held to evaluate the weaknesses and strengths of fire-fighting and rescue operations.
The exercise was held in association with the Interior Ministry directorates.
The scenario started when the Civil Defence operations room and the main operations room received the case and then the security personnel dealt with the incident until the arrival of the Civil Defence teams to carry out the tasks of evacuation and firefighting.
At the end of the exercise the Director-General of the Civil Defence thanked all the participants.
