Executive-legislature co-operation stressed
Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia Zainal, has lauded the positive Executive-Legislature co-operation which enjoys the great interest of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The co-operation between the two branches is based on mutual trust and respect, as well as national responsibility of the two sides to consolidate the democratic process in order to attain more achievements for Bahrain and its people, she observed. This came as she met yesterday the Deputy Premier and Chairman of the government’s delegation to the committee in charge of studying the Government Action Plan 2019-2022, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, along with Parliament Affairs Minister, Ghanim bin Fadhul Al Buainain.
The speaker affirmed her confidence in the government’s positive response to all the issues raised by MPs regarding topics related to the citizens’ needs and aimed at serving the kingdom’s development march.
