Competition to instil peace values in children

The United Nations Information Centre for the Gulf Countries (UNIC Manama) and the Lions Club of Riffa are co-organising the Lions Club Annual Walk-In Essay and Painting Competition for children to instil peace values in them.

The competition, which will be held on Friday 25th January 2019 at the New Millennium School, Zinj, between 3.00 pm and 5.15 pm is open and free to all. The open contest comes with the objective to stimulate the inherent creativity of the youth of the country and present a forum to express their views on topics that will be informed at the venue.

The topic of the essay competition will be announced at the venue while the theme of the painting competition will be on ‘Peace’ and the specific topic will be announced at the venue.
