Mental health test for murder case accused

A Bahraini accused of murdering two Asians with an intention to rob them will undergo mental health tests, according to sources. The First High Criminal Court has adjourned the case to January 29 for verifying the report that will be submitted by the medical team. The man is accused of murdering two Asians by hitting them with a hammer.

According to Public Prosecutors, the accused killed his first victim in Gafool. “His first victim was a road cleaner. He hit him in the head using a hammer and made off with BD16, which was stolen from the victim’s wallet. “After a few months, he committed a similar crime in Tubli. And this time the victim was collecting cartons from a garbage can when the accused hit him in the head using a hammer.”
