No need for tax-offence prosecution
“There is no need at the present time to form a prosecution office for tax offences or violations,” stated the Attorney General, Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al-Buainain during an official press conference held by the Public Prosecution office.
He added that any offences or violations related to tax, the value added tax (VAT), would be referred to the responsible government bodies.
