Patriotic fervor at NMS-DPS
The New Millennium School – DPS Bahrain, celebrated the “70th Republic Day” of India with special assemblies arranged in the school campus on 20th and 21st January 2019. The Special assemblies conducted by the junior and senior sections of the school, witnessed the spirit of nationalism through patriotic songs, dances, speeches and skits.
Students were made to take a pledge to instill the need of preserving the culture and rich heritage of the motherland. The whole campus reverberated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm and was bedecked in the colours of the Tiranga. Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma addressed the students and motivated them to imbibe the true meaning of patriotism.
Drawing the attention of the students towards their duties and responsibilities, he advocated them to be brave and face all the challenges with courage as they are the ones who can take the country to new heights. Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Chairman and Managing Director Geetha Pillai extended their good wishes to one and all on the occasion of “Republic Day.”
