Bahraini horses excel in beauty championship

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Horse Beauty Championship concluded in Riyadh following the participation of 155 horses representing 24 countries, including Bahrain.

The Kingdom’s representatives had a successful journey in the event, which is considered among the top horse beauty competitions in GCC thanks to the wide-participation from horse beauty sport enthusiasts across the region.

In this context, mare Musk Eurasia (De Meras / De Mars), owned by Eurasia Stud, finished second after collecting 90.60 points in (B) class for 1-year-old mares.

Meanwhile, Bahraini Al Shehab Stud’s mare, owned by Fadel Al Jamri, finished 5th in the (A) class for three year mares after bagging 90.00 points en route to pocketing a whopping 300,000 Saudi Riyals.

Furthermore, mare F S Cayen, owned by Alaa Abduljabar’s Al Ameer Stud, finished second in its category, while mare D Jad of Al Naseem Stud came third in the 4-6 year category.

On this occasion, Dr Khalid Ahmed Hassan, President of the Horse Beauty Committee in Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) hailed the Bahraini participation in the event, praising the results achieved during it.

He stressed that such accomplishments reflect the vast development of this sport thanks to the support and strategies of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honourary President of BREEF.
