Bahraini serial burglar arrested after 113 burglaries
The 44 year old is suspected of executing 113 burglaries in a span of four years during which he targeted homes and flats.
The items stolen by the accused amounted to BD 4, 00,000 revealed Ministry of Interior.
Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan said on Wednesday that after investigations and coordination with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, the Capital Governorate Police Directorate had arrested the suspect.
Legal action has being taken and the stolen items had been seized, including remittances worth BD27,000. The suspect has been referred to the Public Prosecutor.
Major-General Tariq Al Hassan said the identification of the suspect required extraordinary efforts, especially since he had committed the burglaries alone.
