Weights of Strongest Bahraini Man competitions announced
The High Organising Committee of the 2nd Strongest Bahraini Man Championship has validated the final weights for all the participant categories of the event which will take place at Bahrain International Circuit. To be organised under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association and Honourary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities on February 21-23, the event’s proceeds will be donated to cancer patients as the Championship is among HH Shaikh Khalid’s humanitarian and sports Initiatives.
In the heavyweight category, the High Organising Committee adopted 360 kilograms for Al Saqay walk contest, 380 kilograms for the tyre lifting competition, 600 kilograms for Al Karkour pull game, 8000 kilograms for the vehicle pull contest and 1500 kilograms for the car-lifting event. Meanwhile, contestants in the middleweight class will take on Al Saqay walk challenge with 300 kilograms.
