Capital Municipality honours VRS candidates
The Capital Municipality has hosted a ceremony in honour of the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) staff, who will retire in February and March.
The event was held under the patronage of the Capital Municipal Council’s Director-General, Shawqiya Humaidan, Chairman, Saleh Tarrada, members and officials. Shawqiya Humaidan, in a statement, commended the key role played by the retirees in enhancing government services in the Capital Municipality and achieving the citizens’ satisfaction with them.
Reem Isa Almutawa, in a statement on behalf of the retirees, praised the honouring ceremony, noting that the kind gesture has a positive impact on the retiring staff.
