Bahrain School students attend annual conference of Educators Rising
Bahrain School’s chapter of the national Educators Rising group attended an annual conference in Garmisch, Germany last week. Three students, Abigail Franklin, Ikwhan Mohd Raji, and Nedal Ahmed, were accompanied by their teacher sponsor, Meg Herrera.
While at the conference the three students attended sessions on different methods of teaching, what makes a great teacher, and were inspired by the DoDEA Teacher of the Year, Anna Sansone. Students also were involved in team building sessions, having to work with students from all around Europe, and they even had some time to walk in the beautiful snow and look at the mountains.
Nedal Ahmed came in second place in the Nametag competition. The group looks forward to sending a new set of students next January
