Bahraini widow’s flat burgled
A widowed Bahraini woman was shocked to find all her belongings stolen from her apartment in Isa Town after she returned from a 50-day trip abroad. The woman said that the burglars made off with all electronic devices and home appliances from the apartment, which is located at one of the Government housing projects in Isa Town.
The widow, who lives alone with no children, said the robbers also stole her late husband’s passport. The burglary victim said she is now living in difficult financial situations as she had spent all her money on treatment fees abroad. She added that she survives on a social security allowance, which is given to her monthly by the Labour and Social Development Ministry, in addition to donations from her neighbors.
