Shura hails King’s summit participation

The Shura Council expressed tremendous pride on the occasion of the participation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the first Arab-European Summit held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The summit aims to achieve the sustainable development goals (SDGs), and boost the progress and prosperity of all countries, hence Bahrain’s keenness on opening cooperation and setting Arab and European strategies to surmount all the challenges, said the council.

The Shura Council affirmed that the first Arab-European Summit is held at a time all countries are collectively partnering to combat the terrorism threat working to dry up its resources, and find solutions to the issue of illegal migration.  The council praised the participating countries’ keenness to boost the cooperation and create more Arab and European partnerships regarding all the issues of shared concern.

The council hoped that the outcomes and recommendations of the summit will further consolidate the security, stability and peace in the countries and will serve as the catalyst for progress and growth to achieve more prosperity in the various fields.
