Salman Salim claims Strongest Bahraini title

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa crowned Salman Salim Abdullah as the winner of the 2nd Strongest Bahraini Championship which concluded on Saturday. The event held under the theme #Be_a_ beast is part of an initiative by the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletic Association and Honourary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities’ humanitarian and sports initiatives. Proceeds will go towards helping cancer patients.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid stressed that holding this event came to confirm Bahrain’s capability to organise various sports event. He stated that the Championship reflected the constant efforts exerted to translate the vision of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain to maintain backing the sports and youth sector.

He further added that organising this event in its second edition was in line with the efforts being made by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic to promote the sports and youth field.
