"Air Force carried out aerial strike early morning today at terror camps across the LoC and Completely destroyed it" according to Twitter account of One Union Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat

The incident comes 12 days after Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based terrorist group, carried out the suicide bombing in Pulwama killing 40 jawans.

ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor in a tweet said the Indian Air Force violated the LoC and the PAF’s prompt response compelled the Indian aircrafts to go back.

The strike is believed to have taken place around 4 am and the Pakistani establishment came out with a public statement an hour later, claiming air space violation by India.
