Sports summit at Muharraq Model Youth Centre
A Sports summit was launched yesterday at Muharraq Model Youth Centre with the slogan ‘Vision and Implementation’. The event was launched under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The summit, attended by decision-makers from various sports organisations, will continue until Monday. Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayyed attended the opening ceremony. Participating in a debate on the occasion, the minister said the event reflects the interest of Bahraini stakeholders in confronting them and developing the appropriate solutions.
