Traffic Week 2019 set for March 7-16
Director of Traffic Culture at the General Directorate of Traffic Salah Shahab has announced the conclusion of preparations for the launch of Traffic Week 2019, taking place from March 7 to 16.
He said that as part of the traffic week's activities, the Traffic Village would be inaugurated at The Avenues Mall with 19 education, entertainment and traffic services sections for the public, along with a host of programmes and events. He added the traffic week's activities would target all age groups to promote the culture of traffic safety.
Ideal drivers will also be honoured and the participants in the University of Bahrain Traffic Competition will be awarded. The Traffic Awareness Award for public and private high school students and the painting competition for Al Bayan School students will also be awarded, he said.
He urged the public to visit the Traffic Village that would be open daily during the week from 10 am to 10 pm.
