MOH: 4 chronic diseases have affected 22% of Bahraini population

A latest report from the Ministry of Health showed that 341,870 patients - 22.7% of Bahrain's population have 4 serious chronic diseases.

The statistics revealed that the four most common diseases affecting the population in Bahrain are cardiovascular diseases, which fluctuates between 158 to 521 people, followed by chronic respiratory diseases (92 thousand and 112 patients), while the number of diabetics was about 87,850 patients , thus comes in the bottom of the list the cancerous diseases (3387 patients), these recent numbers show the numbers of patients enrolled in the Ministry of Health
