Expat dies during treatment

Indian expat, Santhosh Sivanandan (41), who was undergoing treatment in King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) since last Tuesday, passed away on Thursday morning.

Hailing from Chathannoor in the Kollam District of Kerala, the deceased is survived by his wife Maneesha who is a well-known artist in the Indian community and is a teacher at the Indian School Bahrain and his son currently in the second grade of the same school.

Procedures to move the body to his hometown is underway, presently in the mortuary of the King Hamad Hospital.
