BD2 million in arrears
The total arrears owed by government entities to the Electricity and Water Authority stands in the neighbourhood of BD two million, said Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza.
This came during Dr Mirza’s response to a parliamentary question raised by lawmaker Isa Al Kooheji. However, the minister did not specifically mention the names of government entities that owes arrears to the EWA.
