‘Enhance public service delivery’
The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday awarded 10 government service centers that received gold classification under ‘Taqyeem’ - a government service center evaluation system that tracks key performance indicators to improve public service delivery - at Gudaiybia Palace. The Deputy King emphasised that enhancing public services remains an important priority for the Kingdom, and plays a key role in its comprehensive development.
The Deputy King also highlighted the Government Service Centers Evaluation Committee’s efforts throughout the evaluation, in accordance with the highest standards and best practices.
The award winning government service centres are Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, Electricity and Water Authority’s customer service center in Muharraq, Electricity and Water Authority’s customer service center in Country Mall, Tamkeen’s customer service center at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tamkeen’s customer service center in Seef Mall, Information and eGovernment Authority’s ID branch in Isa Town, Information and eGovernment Authority’s ID branch in Seef Mall – Muharraq, Municipal One Stop Shop, Bahrain Investors Center and Precious Metals and Gemstone Testing Directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. A number of ministers and senior officials also attended the ceremony.
