The Bahrain ITF World Tennis Tour 2019 then gets underway on Tuesday and continues until March 23 at the BTC hardcourts in Juffair.

The tournament is a part of the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) Men’s Calendar, and it offers an attractive prize purse of $15,000. It is being held under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. Sunday’s draw is scheduled to get underway at 6pm at the BTC premises.

It will be administered and run by ITF Supervisor and Tournament Referee Dr. Ashraf Hamouda. Also attending will be members of the competition’s Organising Committee as well as some of the players. Many of those competing in the tournament have already arrived from overseas and begun practicing at BTC. There are two Bahrainis who will be taking part in Qualifying.
