Rare accomplishment for Bahraini student

Making his nation proud, a Bahraini student has won third place in a global science and innovation competition. The honour came after Bahraini student Khalifa Aljiran took part in a competition organized by the University of Georgia. His project that won the award was a temperature controlled coat which he invented. Khalifa said that he had worked on his project for many months. “The coat uses solar energy and utilizes a special battery of high capacity, efficiency, and safety.

The coat is special as its temperature can be controlled using a button,” Khalifa said. The boy was congratulated by Dr Majid Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Education for his achievement.   The management of Al Falah School in Al Muharraq, where he studied honored the student inventor in the presence of school head.

The head of the school praised students as well as faculty and expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Education for its support.
