Bahrain excel in bowling championship
Bahrain men’s and women’s bowling teams returned with a number of medals from the Arab Championships held in Egypt recently. The men’s team took three gold medals, two silver, and one bronze, while the women’s squad managed one gold, one silver and one bronze.
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Mohammed Al Nusuf received the members of the bowling teams at his office in Seef. Al Nusuf congratulated the Bahrain Bowling Association president Ahmed Al Nuaimi and members of the delegation on these remarkable results, which he attributed to the advanced level of the game in the country.
He also commended the efforts of the BBA board, led by Al Nuaimi, to develop bowling at all levels, and noted such achievement would not be possible without the continued support and follow up of the association by providing all means of success for the players.
