Thousands visit Mara’ee 2019
Thousands of people visited the fifth edition of Mara’ee Show 2019 on the first day, which was launched on Wednesday. The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Ministry of Work’s Agriculture and Marine Resources Undersecretary Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Khalifa said that Mara’ee 2019’s Supreme Committee added a set of shows and events that are held for the first time, besides expending the general area of the exhibition.
The new shows include participation of horses show from Turkmenistan, National Geographic’s corner for animals’ virtual world, and a corner dedicated to decorative chicken and other birds, as well as the accompanying art exhibition, which offers live demonstrations of painting.
He pointed out that Mara’ee provides the public who are interested in animals and agricultural sector an opportunity to learn how to preserve animals and agriculture through the introduction of the latest technologies in this regard.
