BD10,000 raised to support autistic children
Rotaract Bahrain, which is part of the Rotary International, hosted its annual charity fundraiser event ‘Against the Clock (ATC)’, at Al Bander Hotel and Resort.
The event raised approximately BD10,000 to provide monetary support to the children suffering from autism. Rotaract Bahrain is supported by Rotary Clubs of Salmaniya, Manama, and Adliya, and is part of a worldwide service organization promoting the culture of ‘Service Above Self’.
The Rotary organization has a track record of over 50 years of community development projects in the Kingdom. The project that aims to support the children with autism with the help of Omneyat Foundation for Autism and other societies in collectively distributing the funds through various channels to help support the training and development of therapists and consultants.
