Focus on Malaysia ties

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed that boosting economic co-operation between countries promotes investment and entrepreneurship.

The Prime Minister affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to bolster relations with Malaysia and enhance bilateral economic partnership, pointing out the promising capabilities of both countries given the location of Bahrain as a gateway to the Gulf region and an important regional financial and investment hub. He also underlined the need to take advantage of Malaysia’s capabilities and distinguished status in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) group.

HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday Malaysian Entrepreneurship Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof and his accompanying delegation.

The Malaysian minister conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister the greetings of his Malaysian counterpart Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain.

HRH the Premier asked the Malaysian Minister to convey his greetings to his Malaysian counterpart as well as his best wishes of more growth and prosperity to the Malaysian people.
