His Majesty receives prestigious Japanese honour

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday, the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Hideki Ito, along with a delegation from the Stone for Peace Association of Hiroshima, led by its Board of Directors’ Chairman, Michio Umemoto. The delegation presented HM King Hamad with the “Stone for Peace” in recognition of HM’s efforts in promoting the values of peace, love, and co-existence. 

HM, the King welcomed the Japanese Ambassador and members of the Stone for Peace Association of Hiroshima, lauding their endeavors to spread the values of peace and tolerance among the peoples of the world. HM King Hamad expressed pride in the solid Bahraini-Japanese relations, and in the steady growth of the deep-rooted bilateral cooperation and joint action in many fields, in light of the two countries’ shared keenness to achieve the best for their two friendly peoples.

HM, the King asserted that the Kingdom is proud of its long-standing distinguished civilizational status and leading historical role in disseminating the values of moderation and toleration and consolidating rapprochement among various civilizations, cultures, and religions.
