Bahrain committed to investing in youth
The Kingdom remains committed to investing in Bahrain’s youth, providing them with skill sets that are conducive to creative thinking, innovation and leadership in line with His Majesty King Hamad’s directives, said Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Speaking as he received the fourth intake of the First Deputy Prime Minister’s (FDPM) Fellowship, His Royal Highness highlighted that, since its inception, the FDPM Fellowship has provided an integrated platform for the enhancement of government efficiency.
“The project aims to advance competitiveness and productivity through the wide-ranging initiatives and projects of the Fellows,” said Prince Salman. The FDPM Fellowship is a vital platform aimed at enhancing the leadership and analytical skills of government employees. Participants spend a year working as full-time research fellows at the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister, benefiting from advanced training research methods and policy analysis.
The Deputy King praised the fourth intake’s diligence and relentless commitment to capitalize on the Fellowship’s extensive training programmes and wished them success in applying their newly acquired knowledge at their workplaces. For their part, the FDPM Fellows expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy King for his continued support and encouragement.
