Filipino national crowned ‘May Queen’ at beauty pageant
Filipino national Chloe Keith David, 17, was crowned ‘May Queen’ at the beauty pageant organized by the Indian Club on Thursday. The magnificent event saw 18 contestants walking the ramp for the title.
It also attracted hundreds of viewers. Indian national Dhanusha Koshy, 20, was selected the first runner-up while Livya Liffy, also an Indian national aged 17, emerged the second runner-up.
In addition to the main title of May Queen, contestants were also judged and awarded for other categories where the audience choice was Abhirami Aji. Chloe also bagged the prizes for best hairdo and smile while Dhanusha was the winner in photogenic and catwalk categories.
Speaking to Tribune, Indian Club President, Stalin Joseph, said: “This is one of our prestigious calendar events and this year we had young, beautiful and confident 18 models taking part in the event, making it a big success.
