Bahrain will continue economic diversification efforts: Crown Prince
Bahrain will carry on with its diversification efforts to continue expanding non-oil revenues, said HRH the Crown Prince yesterday evening. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister was visiting the Majlis of HH Shaikh Ebrahim bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Majlis of the Al Musallam family, the Majlis of the Al Mahmood family and the Majlis of the Minister of the Shura Council and House of Representatives Affairs, HE Ghanem bin Fadhul Al Buainain.
Stressing the need to further align non-oil revenues with the economic growth, HRH Prince Salman said, “Bahrain will continue to build on its economic achievements by advancing its smart oil economy as well as competitiveness in all sectors of the Kingdom.” Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, HRH the Crown Prince said, has delivered and continues to support a wide range of initiatives that drive sustainability and competitiveness in the economy.
The Crown Prince expressed his gratitude to citizens on their firm commitment to Bahrain’s development efforts saying, “Citizens are the foundation on which Bahrain’s development continues to thrive under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.”
For their part, the Majlises hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s visit and highlighted HRH the Crown Prince’s support to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa accompanied HRH the Crown Prince to the Majlis visits.
