BTEA honours Silver Crafting participants
The Handicrafts Directorate at Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) held a graduation ceremony for participants in the Silver Crafting – Level 1 Workshop on Sunday at Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre.
The workshops come in line with BTEA’s ongoing efforts to preserve the traditional Bahraini handicrafts industry. The training course, which held from April 7th until 30 April 2019 for 60 hours, was conducted by Sharifa Al Doserri and aimed to develop basic silver and jewelry crafting skills for 11 trainees.
