Al Noor conducts investiture ceremony

The official ceremony of conferring titles and investing powers to the members of student council was organized at the investiture ceremony of the CBSE Senior Section at Al Noor International School, Sitra. The occasion was graced by the Director of the School Dr. MuhammadMashood,the Principal Amin Mohammed Ahmed Heliwa, members of the Quality Assurance Department, the Head Teacher of CBSE Section and the Heads of various sections of the school.

The school council members were conferred upon with badges by the Director and the Principal.The students took the Oath of office for shouldering the responsibilities and leading by example. The Principal addressed the gathering and laid greater emphasis on leadership skills. The Head Teacher in her address stated that a great leader’s courage to do things comes from passion not position. The Head Girl CBSE Senior Section Shamila Salik and Head GirlMiddle School Insha Kamal welcomed the gathering.

The Head Boy of CBSE Senior Section, Isaiah James Jamil and the Head boy Ofthe Middle Section Rishikeshan Padmaceni Shivakumar delivered the Oath and the Acceptance speech on behalf of the council members. Arnab Dev Roy of Middle School spoke about the duties and responsibilities of the Prefect Council. The program concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Diamond House Captain Mohammad Hisham for senior section and Sanskruti Subrat Sarangifor Middle school.
