Sikh community distributes Iftar meals
Sikh community in Bahrain has carried out a noble initiative by distributed Iftar meals in Salmaniya. ‘Sach Sunai Sach Di Bela’, a parent body of Sikh Gurudwaras of Bahrain distributed around 200 Iftar meals in a masjid complex, in an effort to strengthen the relationship between the two communities, and as a symbol of their brotherhood.
“This is the first time we have carried out an initiative of this nature, and we want to continue doing more. All the Sikh gurudwaras in Bahrain have come together to do this initiative”, the President of Sach Sunai Di Bela Jagir Singh told Tribune.
As the end of Ramadan draws near, more initiatives will be planned in the coming days, which will increase in the years to come, Rakesh Sharma, president of the Kanoo Garden Gurudwara committee, told Tribune.
