King calls for joint action

Firm stances are required to end the threats posed by Iran-backed terrorist groups in the region, said His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. “This has pushed the region to the brink of dangerous tension and instability.” In this regard, HM the King said Bahrain affirms its unwavering support to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in all measures to protect security and stability. “We stand with them against all desperate attempts to disrupt the development and prosperity in the two countries.” To deal with such threats, HM the King said, there is a need to strengthening cooperation and solidarity between countries.

“This strengthens our fraternal relations as well as achieve an integrated vision and comprehensive strategy that sustains Arab national security.” “We must continue our efforts to strengthen regional and international security in cooperation, coordination and joint action with our allies and friends,” HM the King stressed reminding such efforts would take the region towards further development and prosperity
