Eid get together turns tragic
A family was left heartbroken after a Bahrain resident’s journey to join them ended in a fatal car crash. The Bahrain resident was reportedly on his way back to his family in Jordan for Eid. Misfortune struck when his vehicle, a hatchback, collided with a truck. According to eyewitness accounts, the two vehicles had a head-on collision, decimating the hatchback and inflicting fatal injuries to the victim.
The impact also resulted in splitting the man’s vehicle in half, with it losing all its doors in the process except that on the right side. Some passersby rushed to the aid of the victim and called an ambulance, before providing him first aid. However, the man, who was grievously injured, soon succumbed to injuries.
The truck suffered only minimal damages with the driver escaping with minor injuries.
