More than 22,000 meals provided to the needy this Ramadan
More than 22, 000 meals were distributed to needy families and workers across Bahrain during Ramadan 2019 by local NGO “Conserving Bounties”.
The NGO aims at collecting excess food from hotels, restaurants, consumer markets and special events across the Kingdom.
In accordance with health standards, the meals are accepted, packaged and delivered to various neighborhoods and labor camps.
Collaborating with other NGO’s in Bahrain, ‘’Conserving Bounties” attends to the less fortunate that are listed in other NGO’s.
During Ramadan 2018, more than 14,000 meals were distributed.
Under the theme "Your Excess is someone else's relief" in 2019, the charity work of ’Conserving Bounties” has gained popularity and spread awareness that has encouraged more contributions that continuous to increase since their inception in 2014.
